Ryan Homes, one of the country’s largest home builders with a strong presence in the region is building The Villages at AURA, a neighborhood of 94 townhomes, targeting young first time buyers. These 2 and 3 bedroom homes with tuck under garages will suit young professionals working in both the Rowan Corridor and Philadelphia, as well young families just starting out.
Essex Chase is a lifestyle neighborhood of 252 luxury rental apartments built by Pizzo and Pizzo, one of New Jersey’s leading apartment developers. It will feature generous two plus bedroom apartment designs many with attached 1 car garages. Well-suited for young people, Professionals and families in transition or on temporary assignment and empty nesters as well, the neighborhood will also offer a swimming pool and clubhouse for Barclay residents.
The Village Grande at Camelot is an active adult neighborhood built of 450 single family homes by DR Horton one of Americas largest homebuilders.The community which is about ½ sold features a full complement of lifestyle recreation appealing to empty nesters from the region who are down-sizing and want stay close to their families.
The Orchards at AURA will feature two builders and two different size homesites.

Ryan Homes will be building 100 homes from 1900-2700 square feet designed to appeal to young and move-up families using some of their most popular plans from around the region.

The Green at Aura

Aura Trail

All the neighborhoods of AURA are linked by trails and paths that lead into a wooded preserve and a natural fishing pond created by Raccoon Creek. Follow the trails to The Green at AURA and through the Community into the Elk Recreation Area and eventually into Elephant Swamp Preserve for miles and miles. The AURA trail network promises family fun, discovery and exploration with flora and fauna of types to see. Adjacent to AURA is The Elk Township Recreation Park is home to town ball fields housing Little League, and Soccer and other team play.

Elephant Swamp

A 6-mile hiking and biking trail on an old railroad bed is accessible from the Elk Township Recreation Park adjacent to AURA. The trail traverses the Reed Branch passing forests farm fields and lush swamps full of mountain laurel. A four season adventure the swamp includes birds of all varieties and many species of woodland animal. In 1880 an elephant escaped from a Circus Train into the swamp giving the preserve its name.

At AURA you will always come home to the scent of fresh country air. You can take the time for a walk, a jog or a family bike ride through unspoiled nature on a wooded trail right in your own backyard that connects to miles of state preservation land. You can do your daily exercises on a fitness course winding through fields and forests or fish with your children and grandchildren in the nearby pond and Raccoon creek.Here you will taste the sweet life… share barbeques, bake sales and pot luck dinners with your neighbors who become your BFFs.
